Tips for wiring a wind transducer from mast head to mast base and through the deck.

Hole through the mast head or the side of the mast?

Do I need to take off the mast head to get the cable into the sheath?

Which connectors are best for NMEA 2000.

I am looking for suggestions

Mine goes in through the spare main halyard sheave . It was that way when I got the boat and seems to work well .
