Hi

I would be interested in trying to establish the 2003 racing schedule as early as possible.  it would be nice to be able to plan in advance, when and where to travel with the boat next season.  Let's find a mid-point where the we could meet and compete in an organized regatta.  We ( Convictus ) travelled to Chigago in 2000, and again to Marblehead in 2001, for the NOOD  Regattas, which were both very well and profesionally run events.  Where can we set up an event where we can gather a reasonable number of boats.  13 participated in Chigago, but only 7 or 8 were present in Marblehead.  Let's put our thinking caps on early, and come up with an equitable location.  Kingston is a great location, but we do not seem to be able to draw any Americans to travel up to our neck of the woods!!!!!  What do you guys suggest?

I am open to just about anything, as long as it isn't a one way street.....

Tim Dear is working on making Cork, our NA's an even better event next year, let's complement that with another regatta somewhere convenient (if that is at all possible) for other fllets, or individual boats to gather.

Looking forward to hearing back from all you L28 sailors out there.

Denise

Impact is racing out of Toronto. This was our first season with the boat and all of our racing was local, West end of Lake Ontario. Next summer we hope to be in Kingston for CORK/NA's and would entertain the possibility of a reasonable eastern road trip...

Is there a date yet for Kingston 2003? This season we were pre-committed for the week of the NAs.

Cheers, Doug

The CORK Offshore dates for 2003 are already set for 9-13 August.  See http://www.cork.org/schedule.html">http://www.cork.org/schedule.html  we look forward to seeing as many boats as possible there especially after such an memorable and enjoyable week this summer.
