Founr the poem,Brother sent it To: "warbird" <warbird@bytehead.com> "I Was Standing One Day By Marblehead Bay... "I was standing one day by Marblehead Bay I've seen many a sight I was on a bark, the Nancy Spark, Bos'n Smith! Go make haste Aye, sez I, and I rushed ahead
The fire blew out the galley stove, Whew, he said, as he ducked his head As soon as the words had left his mouth The fire blew back in the galley stove, Then the lard blew back into the tins Oh I've seen many a sight -By an unidentified poet""

Would the new owner of Eclipse please post the poem (if you find it) on this forum or e-mail it to me at warbird@bytehead.com The hurricane ..blew the sails right off of the spars and the spars right off of the masts... It may be in the chart table or behind some cushions?? Our rafting partners before and after the MAC loved it. WarBird |
